SK 400

The hopper has a capacity of 4m³, the mountable SK 400 sweeper incorporates the advantages of a large street sweeping machine and the manoeuvrability of a compact sweeper.

Performance and engineering
The SK 400 offers a sweeping width of 2.050 mm. The sweeper unit is equipped us a standard chassis between the axles (left-right) with a suction nozzle with broom and a channel brush. For use on large areas is a cross broom centrally mounted. As with the SK 600 and SK 700, the full sweeping width is mechanically cleaned This means that the SK 400 can execute the allocated sweeping tasks faster and more economically. The possibility of damage is virtually eliminated since the sweeping units are pulled. In future, in addition to the suction dirt collection, a mechanical dirt collection system will be offered as an optional extra.

Multifunctional and long-lasting
At the intake area, the hopper is constructed of stainless steel. The hopper lid and its cover are moulded from corrosion-free glass fibre plastic (GFK). The dirt hopper has a capacity of 4 m³ and can be emptied into a standard container (height 1.5 metres).

Drive concept
The hydrostatic drive, which is built into the traction chain between the vehicle engine and the rear differential, is regulated by a selectable hydrostat. This ensures an infinitely adjustable working speed of up to 40 km/h. All the other hydraulic circuits (blower drive and working hydraulics) are fed as required from the hydrostatic gearbox.

Spray water system
A pneumatically driven water pump provides the channel brush and the suction nozzle with spray water thus ensuring dust-free collection of the dirt.

Many applications
Thanks to the gross vehicle weight rating of 7,49 tons, the user of the SK 400 requires only a Class 3 driving license. When used for transport, the sweeper achieves a speed of up to 90 km/h and thus ensures great flexibility. With the dimensions of a compact sweeper, the SK 400 can even be used in narrow, difficult to access city centre areas and hence is suitable for a wide range of applications.
